G/L Account No. Posted in Value Entries and Item Ledger Entries
The Financial Department is responsible to reconcile Inventory and General Ledger posted amounts. To ease this process, the general ledger account number was added in Item Ledger Entries and Value Entries. The G/L Account no. is automatically filled in by Dynamics BC365 when posting.
- Open Item Journals by searching for it in the Tell me icon.
- Select the preferred Batch Name.
- Fill in a line for a positive adjustment, selecting the item no., the location code, and the posting date.
- Fill in a line for a negative adjustment, selecting the item no., the location code, and the posting date.
- Post the two lines by clicking on the Post/Print button and then on the Post button.
Posted Results
- Open Value Entries by searching for it in the Tell me icon. Place the pointer on the last entry. You can check the G/L account no. in the Inventory Account column.
- Open Item Ledger Entries by searching for it in the Tell me icon. Place the pointer on the last entry. You can check the G/L account no. in the Inventory Account column.
