General Journal Test Report

The General Journal Test Report was developed in order to ease the verification before posting the transactions. The report shows the balance of accounts after posting, so they can be easily compare with the balances of the documents such as bank statements.

How to run General Journal - Test Report

1. Open the General Journal - Test by choosing Tell me icon
2. In the window that is opened, the following filters can be used:

• Show Dimension - if it is checked then the dimension will be printed in the report;
• Posting Date - the report will only display the journal lines within selected period
• other filters - Account No., Document No., Amount etc.

The following data must be printed in the Test Report:

• Posting date;
• Document type;
• Document No.;
• Account No.;
• Amount;
• Bal. Account The report displays also information like: Initial balance of Bal. Account, Total debit, Total Credit and Balance.
