General Journal – Auxiliary
The General Journal – Auxiliary report was developed according to law requirements (OMF 3512/2008 - M.Of. 870bis/23.12.2008 – report code: 14-1-1). The report should display all transactions or documents that were registered in accounting within a specific period of time. The report should contain the following details: · Posting date; · Document type; · Document number; · Document description; · Debit and Credit accounts; · Debit and Credit amounts; · Transaction entry number.
Note
The report allows users to check if the registered transactions are correct or not. If for the selected period there are transactions that are not displayed by the report, an alert message will be displayed. This report should be obtained monthly, and it should include all the transactions posted within period, sorted on posting date.
How to run the General Journal – Auxiliary report
- Choose the Tell Me feature icon, enter General Journal - Auxiliary and then choose the related link.
- You can run the report using the following filters: · Posting Date: You should input a specific date or an interval for which the report will be run. This filter is mandatory. In order report displays also closing transactions, the date filter should include the closing date. · G/L Account No: You can filter the data to be display by the system on a G/L account. The report will display all transactions which involved this G/L Account. · Source code: You can filter the report to display only the transactions that were posted through a specific journal type (as GENJNL – General Journal, PURCHASES – Purchases invoices, etc.) · Document No: You can filter the report to display only transactions posted with a specific number.
Note
For displaying data, the report will combine all filters select by users. The report should display the accounts on Debit or on Credit, based on the type of amount that was registered within accountancy.
