G/L Account Detailed Trial Balance
For testing this report, you need to search in Tell me G/L Acc. Detail Trial Balance. You can run the report using the following filters:
Include Closing Entries: mandatory only for income statement accounts.
G/L Account No: You must select the GL account for which report should display data. If you need to analyze more than one account, report must be run for each account.
Date filter: It is necessary to put a filter for “Date filter” within Limits total to section. The date filter can be one day, one month, a specific interval, and year, etc.
If there are setup global dimensions within the system, and if these dimensions are used, the report allows filter data taking into consideration these supplementary criteria.
The report should display amounts registered on Debit or on Credit for that specific account, as they are posted within GL entry. The report should display also values representing:
Initial balance amount (the total amount registered on that specific GL account, before date interval), on debit or credit side.
Total values registered within period (both debit and credit)
Total amounts (both debit and credit).
Balance amount will be calculated after each transaction. The final balance amount at the end of period should be displayed on total line.
Note
The data displayed by the report are sorted by posting date.
