Currency Exchange Rates Integration With NBR

Currency Exchange Rates integration with the National Bank of Romania is used to daily update exchange rates for all currencies defined in the database. For this integration, a stored procedure is scheduled to run daily through a job configured in SQL.

Note

It is required a SQL stored procedure scheduled to run daily through a job configured in SQL Server Agent.

To use the functionality, you must verify the exchange rates updated from the NBR site.

  1. Open the Currencies page by using the Tell me icon;
  2. Open currency Exchange Rates from the menu Process/Exchange rates and verify the exchange rate updated for today;
  3. Verify the exchange rate, published yesterday, for currency EUR from NBR site.
Note

The exchange rate value from Business Central must match the value from the NBR site. Also, in User setup (go to the Tell me icon and type User setup), there is a checkmark NBR Check Receiver which notify the users by email, if the exchange rates from a certain day are not imported.

Posted Results

Daily updated exchange rate for EUR with the exchange rate value from NBR site published in the previous day.
