Fixed Assets History
A fixed asset is assigned to a certain employee and is located in a certain fixed asset location. But there are cases in which a fixed asset must be reassigned to another employee or relocated to another location. These fixed asset updates must be stored.

Also, a document must be printed for each change of assigned employee or FA location on the Fixed Asset Card.
All the updates mentioned above are stored in a history table - FA History Entries. A report can be printed when the user changes the responsible employee or the location from the Fixed Asset Card.
Assign and update Responsible Employee:
- Open a Fixed Asset Card using the Tell me icon and search for Fixed Assets.
- Select a fixed asset that doesn’t have a responsible employee assigned.
- Select a value for Responsible Employee.
- A confirmation message is displayed, asking if you want to assign the new responsible employee to the fixed asset. Make sure to click Yes.
- The system displays a confirmation message for printing the assignment report.
- Change the Responsible Employee from the initial value to a blank one. The confirmation notifications mentioned above will appear.
Note
The assignment report contains information about the fixed asset being assigned and the assignment date.
Assign and update FA Location Code:
- Change the FA Location Code from the General tab from the initial value to a different one.
- A confirmation message appears, asking if you want to assign the new location to the fixed asset. You need to confirm.
- The system displays a confirmation message for printing the assignment report. After confirming, the assignment report is printed.
All updates made on fixed assets are stored in a history table. You can open the list of fixed asset modifications from the Fixed Asset Card -> Process -> History button.
Note
The FA History Entries page that will open contains information about the type of change (Responsible Employee, Location), the FA No., the Old and New Value assigned, as well as the Creation Date.
